Recycling

With the ever increasing constraints placed upon planners, more and more brownfield sites are now being developed. The sites now being considered for development are increasingly more difficult to remediate with derelict or part demolished buildings, floor slabs and paved areas left, possible chemical contamination from our industrial past and non-hazardous active bio-waste such as Japanese Knotweed.

Owen Pugh ¬†will undertake the remediation and development of such sites, disposing of any waste to the appropriate tips and recycling all reclaimable materials on site typically crushing and screening all the ‘hard’ materials recovered for use as road-stone materials in the construction process to follow on the site.

A good example of this is the 50 acre car import facility at North Shields for The Port of Tyne Authority.
