Owen Pugh & Company Ltd was established in 1946 and since that date has undertaken earthmoving works throughout the North East of England. During the years since then the contracting business has steadily expanded, and was formalised into Owen Pugh Contracts Ltd in 2005.

Owen Pugh Contracts Ltd undertakes demolition and earthmoving contracting work for a wide range of clients both in the public and private sectors. The range and extent of work regularly completed is illustrated in the detail sections of the website and in all the work we do we seek to demonstrate the same commitment to quality both in design and execution. The collective expertise and experience of our team of engineers and supervisors allow us to consider all technical, logistical, organisational and environmental aspects of projects in order to develop sustainable and practical solutions.

We are accredited members of CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme), members of Constructionline, corporate members of Considerate Constructors, and members of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA).
